Phnom Penh: As Cambodia celebrates its annual Water Festival, Cambodia Airports is joining in the festivities by organising special cultural performances to welcome arriving passengers at the Phnom Penh International Airport. A 2.22-minute video capturing the art performances at the airport has been released, showcasing the beautiful movements of the dancers and the warm smiles of the performers as they welcome arriving passengers at the airport’s terminal.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, travellers arriving at the airport will be greeted by captivating performances of the traditional ‘Veay Krab’ and ‘Khous Tralok’ dances, the airport said. ‘Starting Nov. 12, we will be celebrating the Water Festival at Phnom Penh International Airport,’ the Cambodia Airports said recently.
The airport’s initiative aims to create a memorable and authentic experience for visitors, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Kingdom. These cultural displays, performed by talented artists, offer a glimpse into Cambodia’

Cambodia is celebrating the Water Festival celebration, a very joyful event that draws hundreds of thousands of locals and tourists to Phnom Penh capital for three days. This year, the annual Water Festival falls from Nov. 14 to 16. Local people and foreign tourists flock to the riverfront of Tonle Sap to cheer their favorite boat teams in the afternoon, and enjoy breathtaking sight of illuminated floats (Pratip), fireworks, and concerts in the evening.
