TotalEnergies Evaluates Cambodia’s Investment Climate Positively


Phnom Penh: Cambodia’s investment situation has been positively evaluated by Mr. Mehmet Celepoglu, Vice President of TotalEnergies for Oceania and Southeast Asia.



According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the positive assessment was made during a meeting this morning when Mr. Mehmet Celepoglu paid a courtesy call on Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Mr. Celepoglu briefed the Premier on TotalEnergies’ international business operations and its future prospects and performance in Cambodia.



Mr. Celepoglu expressed interest in the government’s policies and initiatives, particularly on tax reform. The reform programme is aimed at supporting transparent and fair competition within the country.



In response, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet welcomed Mr. Celepoglu’s working visit to Cambodia and appreciated TotalEnergies’ contribution to the Kingdom’s socio-economic development. The Prime Minister also informed his guest about Cambodia’s investment attraction and incentives policies designed to ensure a favorable investment environment and to strengthen the country’s competitiveness regionally and globally.



Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister encouraged TotalEnergies to continue establishing connections with relevant ministries and institutions of the Royal Government of Cambodia to ensure the company’s further success and to address any challenges it may face.
