Top Child Candidates Selected to Represent Cambodia at APCC 2025


Phnom Penh: The Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports applauses eight selected and reserve child candidates for the Asian-Pacific Children’s Convention (APCC) 2025 in Fukuoka city, Japan.



According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the eight child candidates were shortlisted following a final interview on Feb. 7, and only the selected four will represent Cambodia to attend the APCC 2025 in July.



The ministry thanked the child candidates for their hard work and participation in the programme and their parents for supporting them.



The four children selected are Miss Tona Lisa from Russey Keo Primary School, Miss Srouy Bodaneath from CIA FIRST International School, Mr. Serei Nurakpong from Sovannaphumi School (Chba Ampov Branch), and Mr. Meas Nopkholin from Stung Meanchey Primary School.



The reserve candidates include Miss Kem Sokunisa from Bun Rany Hun Sen Damnak Chang-eur Primary School, Miss Thorng Vanleakhena from Milky Way School, Mr. Vichet Rydaro from Heritage International School, and Mr. Norak Anchhy from Milky Way School.



Established in 1889, the APCC programme aims to build a child network across Asia and the Pacific through the exchange of culture, knowledge, and experience.
