Phnom Penh: H.E. Mrs. Paetongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, and her spouse are set to visit the Kingdom of Cambodia on April 23-24, 2025, following an invitation from Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, H.E. Mrs. Paetongtarn Shinawatra and her spouse will be honored with a Royal Audience by His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath NORODOM SIHAMONI, King of Cambodia, at the Royal Palace. This visit is part of efforts to enhance bilateral relations between the two nations.
The visit will also include separate courtesy meetings with Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN Sen, President of the Senate, and Samdech Maha Rathsapheathika Thipadei KHUON Sudary, President of the National Assembly. The two Prime Ministers will hold a bilateral meeting to discuss strategies for deepening and expanding cooperation in mutually beneficial areas.
The visit coincides with the 75th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Cambodia and Thailand, symbolizing a strengthened bond of traditional friendship between both countries. This event will also feature the signing of several documents aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation.
