Phnom Penh: The Phnom Penh municipal administration has announced the soft opening of a Walk Street along the river in Khan Daun Penh on Feb. 1.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the Walk Street begins from Basey Chamkrong Street (Street No. 94) to in front of the Royal Palace, along Preah Sisowath Quay. Pedestrians can have access to the Walk Street every Saturday and Sunday, from 18:00 to 23:00.

All kinds of transport means will not be allowed to use the street. The Phnom Penh municipal administration thus called on the citizens to reach the Walk Street by public, rather than personal transport means.
