Siem Reap of Cambodia was ranked third among the top ten 2025 Trending Destinations among UK travelers, according to SkyScanner.
‘Siem Reap, Cambodia’s second largest city, is the gateway to the temples of Angkor and, in recent years, has reinvented itself as a destination for culture, wellness and fine dining,’ the source commented.
Reggio Calabria of Italy topped the list, followed by Tartu of Estonia. Baltimore of the United States of America, Portsmouth of Dominica, and Córdoba of Spain came in 4th, 5th, and 6th, respectively.
Norway’s Tromso was placed the 7th most popular place to travel, followed by Panglao Bohol of the Philippines, Stuttgart of Germany, and Thiruvanan-thapuram of India.
Located in the northwestern part of Cambodia, about 315 kilometres from Phnom Penh capital, Siem Reap city also earned a recognition as a world’s best tourist city by the Tourist + Leisure in 2022.
