Phnom Penh: H.E. Sou Socheat, Delegate of the Royal Government in charge as Director General of the Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (SERC), led colleagues to virtually join a dialogue held on Mar. 17 between regulators and the Asia Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (ASIFMA) on ‘ASEAN Taxonomy (AT) and ASEAN Transition Finance Guidance (ATFG)’.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, this dialogue was attended by the representative Chair of ASEAN Capital Markets Forum (ACMF), the Co-Chairs of the Working Committee on Capital Market Development (WC-CMD), Chairs of the ASEAN Taxonomy Board (ATB), the Co-Chairs of Joint Sustainable Finance Working Group (JSFWG), and members of ASIFMA, coordinated by the Sustainable Finance Institute Asia (SFIA).
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the development and implementation of the AT for Sustainable Finance and the ATFG in response to key challenges, feedback from industry stakeholders, and global trends impacting ASEAN’s sustainable finance landscape.
In the meeting, H.E. Sou Socheat provided an introductory address, contributing to discussions on the development and implementation of the AT and ATFG.
