Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, has encouraged Cambodian scholarship students who will pursue their respective studies in Japan and the Czech Republic to study hard for the national development.
While receiving Cambodian scholarship students at the January 7 Palace here this morning, Samdech Techo Hun Sen stated that human resource development will remain a priority area for Cambodia at all stages.
Moreover, the senate president advised the students to pay high attention to technology and other important skills, especially AI.
Today is the fast-paced world of technology which can be catastrophic to human being, so it is necessary to continue to develop human resources, because even the most advanced technology can still work under the control by humans, he underlined.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen shared an important view that in this world, we cannot reduce the property gap, but we can reduce the knowledge gap.
“Whether in our country or in other countries, the children of t
he rich and the children of the poor go to the same school, so what is important is to give children the opportunity to learn together,” he said.
