Phnom Penh: Cambodia-China People-to-People Exchange Year 2024 has recently marked its official end in Zhengzhou, Henan province of China, highlighting the ongoing cultural and tourism collaboration between the two countries.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, despite the official conclusion of the initiative, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further jointly promoting cultural heritage, traditions, and tourism potential, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, said on his Telegram channel this afternoon.
The event not only strengthened Cambodia-China ties in tourism and trade but also underscored Cambodia’s prioritisation of the Chinese market for its tourism sector, added the Premier, stressing that this aligns with broader efforts to enhance economic and cultural exchanges in the long run.
In fact, Samdech Thipadei continued, through the closing ceremony of the “Cambodia-China People-to-People Exchange Year 2024”, there is a clearer promotion of the culture, tradition and tourism potential between the two countries, which not only contributes to strengthening the friendly ties and good cooperation in the tourism and trade sectors between Cambodia and China, but also shows the priority attention to the Chinese market source for Cambodian tourism.
