Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the ruling Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, stated that even though CPP has already a lot of human resources, it needs to mobilise more human resources to participate in the national development.
The remarks were made by Samdech Techo Hun Sen at get-together with some 3,500 leaders of trade unions, representatives of civil servants, teachers and Informal Economy Association of the ruling Cambodian People’s Party (CPP), ahead of the International Labour Day (May 1), at Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre in Phnom Penh this morning.
On the occasion, Samdech Techo Hun Sen introduced Mr. Yim Sinorn, an opposition activist for years, who has recently decided to join the CPP and been appointed Under Secretary of State at the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training.
This afternoon, via his Telegram channel, Samdech Techo Hun Sen also announced to welcome Mr. Hun Kosal, another opposition activist, to join the CPP.
