Samdech Hun Sen Sends Congratulatory Messages to Vietnamese Leaders


Phnom Penh: President of the Cambodian Senate, Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, has expressed his congratulations to Vietnamese top leaders on the occasion of the Vietnamese New Year.



According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, Samdech Hun Sen conveyed his warmest wishes in separate messages to H.E. To Lam, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV); H.E. Luong Cuong, President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam; H.E. Tranh Tanh Man, President of the National Assembly of Viet Nam; and H.E. Pham Minh Chinh, Prime Minister of Viet Nam.



In his messages, Samdech Hun Sen emphasized the importance of the New Year as an opportunity to further strengthen the bonds of traditional friendship, good neighbourliness, solidarity, trust, and mutual understanding between the two nations. He expressed a strong belief in fostering win-win cooperation for the mutual benefit of both Cambodian and Vietnamese peoples.



Samdech Hun Sen concluded his messages by wishing the Vietnamese leaders good health, happiness, and success in their endeavors. The Vietnamese Lunar New Year, known as Tet, is set to be celebrated on January 29 this year.
