The State Railway of Thailand, in collaboration with the TAT, launched the first tourist train, Royal Blossom, from Bangkok Railway Station (Hua Lamphong) to Kanchanaburi, and is driving the policy of promoting rail tourism throughout the year.
Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Mr. Awirut Thongnet, Deputy Governor of the State Railway of Thailand, executives from partner agencies, government sector, private sector, welcomed tourists on the inaugural Royal Blossom train, Bangkok (Hua Lamphong) – Kanchanaburi route, to drive the policy to promote domestic tourism.
Mr. Ekarat Sriarayanpong, Chief of the Office of the Governor of the State Railway of Thailand, revealed that the opening of the Royal Blossom tourist train service today is very important in supporting the increasing popularity of rail tourism. This is because the Royal Blossom train is a tourist train that has been designed and modified to be a tourist train with complete facilities. This will help make eve

In 2024-2025, the State Railway of Thailand has set a goal to promote train travel as part of domestic tourism throughout the year, in accordance with the policy of Mr. Surapong Piyachote, Deputy Minister of Transport, in line with the government’s tourism promotion policy, which is a tool to help create jobs and careers for people in various communities. The special feature of this trip is that, in addition to taking everyone to experience valuable historical attractions, the State Railway of Thailand has used ingredients and products from communities in Kanchanaburi Province to carefully cook and serve them in the form of Japanese bento wrapped in a sarong from the Ban Nong Khao community, so that everyone can experience a special experience that is perfectly combined.
