Takeo: More than ever, the 9th River Festival 2025 of Cambodia will feature at least ten sports types to cheer up visitors. The three-day river festival that will be hosted by Takeo province of Cambodia is set to last from Mar. 21 to 23.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, of the sports listed for the event is the first-ever 75-kilometre cycle from Phnom Penh capital to Takeo province. The rest of the sports include running events, Khmer traditional chess and other popular games, mass volleyball, public bowling and canoeing, and Khmer martial arts competition.

Cambodia’s River Festival is organised annually on a rotating basis by the country’s riparian provinces. The first event was held in Kratie in 2015, and the most recent one took place in Siem Reap province.
