Phnom Penh: Two Cambodian Private Commercial Centres have been planned to be established in London, the United Kingdom, and New Delhi, India. The proposal for establishing the two centres was discussed in a meeting held here on Jan. 20 between H.E. Mrs. Cham Nimul, Minister of Commerce, Oknha Lim Bun Sour, Chairman of AZ Group (Cambodia), Mr. Jas Sohl, Director of SOHL, and their delegation.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the centers will serve as key gateways for promoting Cambodian products to international markets, the Ministry of Commerce said upon the meeting. The centres will showcase Cambodia’s potential products and provide relevant documents related to commerce, investment, tourism, and culture, aiming to attract international traders, investors, and tourists to Cambodia, the ministry added.
The meeting expressed commitment to further strengthen cooperation to promote the export of Cambodian products, particularly Cambodian cashew nuts, to the United Kingdom’s and India’s market once the centres are established.
