Preah Sihanouk to Host International Road Racing 2024 Next Month


For the first time, Preah Sihanouk province will host the International Road Racing (Off Road) 2024 to attract more visitors and profile its reputation to the world.

The plan for the Off Road 2024 event was discussed in a meeting among the province’s governor, H.E. Mang Sineth, pertinent officials, and a delegation of the organising team led by H.E. Tea Siam, the president of Off Road Cambodia, on Oct. 16.

The international road racing that features racing challenges such as swamps and rocks, among others, has so far been an event that gains traction of national and international tourists everywhere, said H.E. Tea Siam.

The event also hosted entertainment activities, including camping, concerts, food and beverage services, and parades of off-road motorcycles and cars.

According to the deputy secretary general of the Cambodia Motor Sports Federation, Mr. Chhin Seiha, along with international participants, there will be about 80 Cambodian off-road vehicles joining the International Road Racing (Off Road) 2
024 at Otres Beach in Preah Sihanouk province, scheduled for Nov. 28-30.

H.E. Mang Sineth demonstrated his full support for the event and thanked the organising team for the initiative to help promote the province and bring in more national and international tourists.
