PM Thanks Compatriots for Their Contributions to Border Infrastructure Fund

Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet has thanked all his compatriots for their active participation in the fundraising campaign for border infrastructure development, focusing on border ring road construction.

‘On behalf of the Royal Government and on my own behalf, I would like to express my gratitude to all the venerable monks, civil servants, armed forces and all the compatriots from all walks of life, both inside and outside the country who have actively contributed to the ‘Border Infrastructure Fund’, focusing on the construction of border ring roads, over the past two days,’ said the Premier on his social media networks this evening.

This precious contribution clearly underscores the great unity and the spirit of a single Khmer nation with a patriotic conscience in the cause of defending and developing Cambodia, Samdech Thipadei underlined.

At the same time, the Prime Minister encouraged his compatriots, to continue to participate more actively in the fundraising campaign.

On Aug.
26, Senate President Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen voiced his support for the campaign, stressing that ‘through this fund, we will see the true spirit of solidarity for national defence from all walks of life of our nation, especially we will be able to know whether or not those who have accused us of cutting four or more provinces to Vietnam join the fundraising campaign. If they are afraid that the country would lose territory, it is a good time for them to join in building roads, schools, hospitals, water wells, and so on.’
