Phnom Penh: Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet this afternoon re-emphasised the need for constant update of education. Addressing the closing ceremony of the annual meeting of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports held here at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet said strengthening education must be done continuously because education is the mechanism for providing skills to society and ensure the continuous development process of humanity.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the Prime Minister stressed that without a strong educational foundation, national development could face significant challenges. He highlighted the necessity for Cambodia to enhance the quality of its general education programme, which spans at least 12 years from primary to high school level.
Furthermore, Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister called upon all stakeholders to improve school governance and teaching, revamp school curriculums, and increase community participation, underscoring these as crucial areas for ensuring the effective delivery of education across the nation.
