Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh paid a working trip to the central province of Quang binh on June 2. Visiting Nguyen Quang An, a 84-year-old wounded veteran at Nam Ly ward, Dong Hoi district, he affirmed that the Party and State always remember the contributions and sacrifice by older generations and those who fought and died for the national independence and freedom. Visiting and presenting gifts to children and persons with disabilities in the Quang Binh centre for social welfare, which is nursing 80 disadvantaged people and children facing extreme difficulties in the province, PM Chinh said he hopes all the disadvantaged people and children at the centre will overcome difficulties and thrive. On the occasion, PM Chinh also visited My Ha village, My Thuy commune of Le Thuy district where he encouraged locals to stay united to build the new-style rural areas and life of culture.
