PM Hun Manet and EuroCham Delegation Discuss Strengthening EU-Cambodia Trade and Investment Ties

Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received a delegation from the European Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (EuroCham Cambodia) at the Peace Palace here this afternoon, according to a press release issued by the Spokesperson for Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister.

At the outset, Ambassador of the European Union to Cambodia H.E. Igor Driesmans, who led the EuroCham Cambodia delegation, praised the cooperation between the EU and Cambodia, particularly in trade, investment, and economic sectors.

Mr. Tassilo Brinzer, Chairman of EuroCham Cambodia, congratulated the Royal Government of Cambodia on its remarkable achievements over the past year. He reported on the Chamber’s significant activities and expressed gratitude to Cambodian ministries and institutions for their support and cooperation.

Mr. Brinzer also commended the government’s policy reforms aimed at enhancing the investment environment and committed to promoting Cambodia’s investment potential to attract m
ore European investors.

Samdech Thipadei expressed appreciation for the good relations and cooperation between Cambodia and the European Union. He thanked EuroCham Cambodia for the contributions to investment promotion and socio-economic development.

The Prime Minister shared insights on the Royal Government’s initiatives to improve the investment and business environment, enhance Cambodia’s competitiveness, and advance ministries’ digitalisation efforts to better communicate and deliver public services to the private sector.
