NA President and Vietnamese Ambassador Highlight Bilateral Achievements


PHNOM PENH: Cambodia National Assembly President Samdech Moha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary hosted a farewell meeting with the outgoing Ambassador of Vietnam, H.E. Nguyen Huy Tang, underscoring the strong diplomatic ties between the two nations. The meeting, held on December 12, celebrated the cooperative spirit that has characterized their relationship.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, Ambassador Nguyen Huy Tang expressed gratitude for the robust collaboration with the Cambodian National Assembly during his tenure. He emphasized the deep-rooted friendship and cooperation between Cambodia and Vietnam, highlighting the spirit of solidarity, honesty, and mutual trust that has fostered development across various sectors.

President Khuon Sudary praised the progress achieved in bilateral relations, especially in legislative and executive cooperation. She acknowledged the ambassador’s significant contributions, notably the $25 million support for constructing a National Assembly building and the succ
essful exchange of high-level visits between the two countries.

Both officials recognized the economic and social advancements made by Cambodia and Vietnam, noting the mutual benefits derived from their strengthened partnership.
