Morning is complete, election of the president of the Ratchaburi Provincial Administrative Organization, people are gradually exercising their rights.

Morning overview: People continuously come out to exercise their right to vote for the president of the Ratchaburi Provincial Administrative Organization. The Election Commission chairman is confident that everything will go smoothly and that there will be no repeats of the election for the president of the Pathum Thani Provincial Administrative Organization. This election covers the entire area of Ratchaburi Province, 10 districts.

Starting at Photharam, the atmosphere at the polling station next to the Photharam Municipality Office has people coming out to exercise their rights continuously. Most are senior citizens who have been exercising their rights since morning, and some who have stopped by to vote before going to do other errands. The villagers who came to exercise their rights said that normally, no matter whether it is a small or big election, the people of Photharam tend to exercise their rights the most because they are afraid that it will affect their job applications or other government conta
cts.

Another atmosphere at Polling Station 6, at the multipurpose court, Village 6, Ban Tha Khoi, Tambon Tha Khoi, Amphoe Suan Phueng, Ratchaburi Province, which is located on the border, was lively because there were Thai people and ethnic Karen people excitedly traveling to exercise their right to vote continuously. It can be seen from the brightly colored local Karen clothing. Both young people and elderly people lined up to check their names before going to receive their ballots at the polling booth. There were police officers and volunteers taking care of the convenience and safety at the polling station.

In Mueang District, in addition to the general public, at Polling Station 1, Khok Mo Subdistrict, Mueang District, Ratchaburi, which is located at the Ammarin Temple Pavilion, soldiers and their families have been continuously coming to exercise their rights. Some soldiers who are still on duty have come out to exercise their rights. The ones who come in groups and gradually come, but it is easy to no
tice because most of them have short hair. Furthermore, the votes from the soldiers are considered a factor because Ratchaburi is home to an important military unit, the Phanurangsi Camp, or known as the Engineers’ House.

Meanwhile, this morning, Mr. Ittiporn Boonprakong, Chairman of the Election Commission, inspected the polling unit at Benchamarachuthit School, Na Mueang Subdistrict, Mueang District, Ratchaburi Province, and spoke about the overall election by inviting Ratchaburi residents to exercise their rights and emphasizing to employers that today they must allow their employees to exercise their rights to vote. If they obstruct, they will be guilty of an offense under the law. However, regarding corruption, a total of five mobile units have been prepared, and even though there have been previous complaints, there is still no clear evidence. Therefore, it is believed that the election in Ratchaburi will not repeat the election of the president of the Pathum Thani Provincial Administrative Organizatio
n, which the Election Commission recently ordered a new election.

As for the movements of the two candidates, Mr. Chairat Sak-Isarapong, a candidate from the Prachachon Party, traveled to polling station 8 at the multipurpose pavilion in Pak Chong Subdistrict, Chom Bueng District, Ratchaburi Province with a cheerful face.
