Phnom Penh: H.E. Tan Sri Dato (Dr.) Johari Bin Abdul, Speaker of the House of Representatives of Malaysia, is set to embark on an official visit to Cambodia this week, from January 16 to 18. The visit comes at the invitation of Samdech Maha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly of Cambodia.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the objective of the visit is to enhance cooperation between the national assemblies of Malaysia and Cambodia. The discussions will focus on strengthening bilateral and multilateral ties with an emphasis on serving the interests of both nations and their people.
During the three-day visit, the Malaysian House Speaker will have a packed schedule. He is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate of Cambodia. Additionally, he will engage in a bilateral discussion with his Cambodian counterpart, Samdech Khuon Sudary.
Furthermore, the visit will include a meeting with Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia. This visit is anticipated to further solidify the diplomatic relations between Malaysia and Cambodia.
