Lee Li Holdings Group is interested in investing in five key areas in Cambodia, including oil and gas, health, accreditation centre for exports, food processing and logistics, and automotive sector.
In a courtesy visit to Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, here at the Peace Palace this afternoon, visiting Mr. Lee Q. Shim, President and CEO of Lee Li Holdings Group, briefed the Premier on his company business in Canada and some other countries and revealed its interest to invest in the above-said sectors.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet expressed warm welcome to the visit of Mr. Lee Q. Shim and his colleagues to Cambodia, which will contribute to further boosting trade relations between the two countries.
He also welcomed the company’s intention to find investment opportunities in Cambodia, stressing that the Kingdom has established two representative offices of Cambodian Chamber of Commerce in Canada – one in Toronto and the other in Montreal – to link trade betw
een both countries, as well as facilitate the export of Cambodian products to Canada and vice versa.
The Prime Minister reiterated that the Royal Government of Cambodia has always supported the private sector by providing incentives and facilitating companies that invest in Cambodia to be successful. He also encouraged the company to continue detailed discussions with relevant government ministries and institutions, such as the Ministry of Mines and Energy, the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Health.
