The Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training has sought Hunan Construction Investment Group’s cooperation and support to the strengthening of technical training of Cambodians on construction and machinery skills.
The request was made by H.E. Minister Heng Sour during his meeting with Mr. Cai Dianwei, Managing Director of China’s Hunan Construction Investment Group, in Phnom Penh on Jan. 23.
On the occasion, H.E. Heng Sour emphasised the necessity of strengthening the quality and capacity of technical training programme for 1.5 million young Cambodians from poor and vulnerable families.
Participation from stakeholders is needed to make the programme more effective, helping to improve the study grogrammes and training of trainers, the minister continued.
For his part, Mr. Cai Dianwei underlined the significance of technical training, which is a key for the national development.
He also appreciated Cambodia’s rapid development in all sectors, including infrastructure and other fields attracting more fore
ign investments to the country.
