Phnom Penh: The Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Cambodia Office and the State Secretariat of Civil Aviation (SSCA) have officially signed the Record of Discussions for a project to strengthen the Civil Aviation Training System at the National Institute of Civil Aviation (NICA) of Cambodia. This partnership is set to enhance training quality and ensure a safer, more skilled aviation workforce.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the Record of Discussions was signed on March 26 between H.E. Dr. Mao Havannall, Minister in Charge of SSCA, and Ms. Choi Moonjung, Country Director of the KOICA Cambodia Office. The project, backed by a grant aid of US$12 million, will be implemented from 2025 to 2029. Its key components include curriculum development, instructor capacity enhancement, infrastructure improvement, and strengthening NICA’s institutional capacity to manage and deliver effective training programs.
