Phnom Penh: The Kampot International Tourism Port, operated by local firm AZ Builders Co., Ltd., will be officially inaugurated on April 3, 2025. The schedule was announced by Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet at the closing ceremony of the annual conference of the Ministry of Public Works and Transports in Phnom Penh this afternoon.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the port’s construction began in 2018 and was completed in 2022. This initiative aims to boost competitive activities and support long-term national economic growth.
