Phnom Penh: A breathtaking natural wonder awaits visitors just a short distance from Phnom Penh. The eroded land area in Krang Dey Vay village, Phnom Sruoch district, Kampong Speu province, is a must-visit destination for eco-tourism enthusiasts and those seeking serene landscapes.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, Mr. Ros Sok, Director of the Kampong Speu Provincial Tourism Department, warmly invites tourists to explore this remarkable site at least once. ‘Brothers and sisters, you will be amazed by the stunning natural scenery that is truly breathtaking,’ he said, emphasizing its appeal to both local and international visitors.
Located near the capital, this hidden gem is easily accessible. Mr. Ros Sok provided detailed directions: Travellers should head along National Road 4 and turn onto the road leading to Kirirom National Park. At the foot of Kirirom Mountain, take a right turn toward Chambok Waterfall Resort, approximately 10 kilometers away.
After passing the Chambok Commune Hall on the right and continuing for about 50 meters, turn right again. The route then crosses two bridges-the first with a steep descent. After the second bridge, proceed 500 meters, turn right, and travel straight for about 1 kilometer to reach the eroded land site.
With its unique natural beauty and tranquil environment, this destination promises an unforgettable experience for all who visit.
