Ninh Binh: Japanese athlete Kabashima Kento has emerged victorious and set a new course record at the fourth Trang An Marathon – Footstrike From The Heritage, held on November 10 in Ninh Binh province. This marks Kento’s consecutive victory in the marathon event. He completed the men’s full marathon of 42 kilometers in a time of 2 hours, 38.22 minutes, surpassing the organizing board’s target record of 2 hours, 58.12 minutes.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the women’s race saw Nguyen Thi Tra Giang securing the top position with a time of 3 hours, 1.41 minutes. She was closely followed by Le Minh Tuan, who finished in 3 hours, 3.45 minutes, and Phung Thi Trang, who completed the race in 3 hours, 14.21 minutes.
