Phnom Penh: Minister of Information H.E. Neth Pheaktra and his spouse, Lok Chumteav Tuy Serey Ratanak, visited Kratie province to distribute school supplies to local students. Their visit aimed to support education by providing necessary materials to 533 students at a local pagoda.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the distribution took place at Kiri Rukhavathnaram pagoda, located in Kantuot commune, Chetr Borei district. The event was part of a broader initiative led by H.E. Neth Pheaktra, who is the Head of the Royal Government Working Group for Kratie province, to enhance education in the region.
The occasion was attended by various notable figures, including H.E. Ms. Teo Lay Cheng, Ambassador of Singapore to Cambodia, and Mr. Kevin Luo, CEO and Founder of Oneroad Group (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. Senior female officials from the Ministry of Information were also present to support the initiative.
H.E. Neth Pheaktra and his colleagues engaged in discussions with the students, emphasizing the importance of education and the government’s commitment to supporting local communities. The presence of high-profile guests underscored the significance of the event in fostering international cooperation and community development.
