PHNOM PENH: His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath NORODOM Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, is set to embark on a State Visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on November 28-29, 2024. This visit comes at the invitation of H.E. LUONG Cuong, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the announcement was made by the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFAIC) this evening. The King will be accompanied by significant figures including Samdech Mahamontrei KUY Sophal, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Royal Palace, and Supreme Adviser to His Majesty the King. Also joining the delegation are H.E. SREY Nory, Supreme Adviser to His Majesty the King, Member of the Constitutional Council, Director of the Royal Cabinet of His Majesty the King, and high representatives from both the Senate and the National Assembly.

During the State Visit, as noted by the source, His Majesty the King will engage in royal audiences with Vietnamese lea
ders. The discussions will focus on maintaining and enhancing the cordial relations aligned with the spirit of good neighbourliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, and long-term stability between Cambodia and Vietnam.

The MFAIC emphasized that this State Visit will signify a pivotal moment in the enduring relations between the two countries. It is expected to further deepen the bonds of excellent relationship and beneficial cooperation shared by Cambodia and Vietnam.
