A delegation of the National People’s Congress (NPC) of the People’s Republic of China will pay an official four-day visit to Cambodia next week, according to an announcement by the General Secretariat of the National Assembly.
Vice Chairman of the NPC’s Standing Committee H.E. Shohrat Zakir will lead the visiting delegation to Cambodia from May 21 to 24.
As scheduled, H.E. Shohrat Zakir will pay a courtesy call on President of the Senate, Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the National Assembly Samdech Moha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, and Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet.
H.E. Shohrat Zakir also plans to hold bilateral talks with H.E. Dr. Cheam Yeap, First Vice President of the National Assembly of Cambodia, to strengthen the friendship between the two countries’ legislatures.
The NPC delegation will meet with the Governor of Siem Reap and visit ancient temples in the province.
