The Francophonie space, boasting a population of more than 1.2 billion people and accounting for 16% of the global GDP and 20% of the global trade, has been a potential land for economic and investment cooperation and trade exchange, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and State President To Lam said on October 4. Lam made the statement while delivering a speech at the FrancoTech 2024, a trade fair for innovation, as part of his trip for attendance at the 19th Francophonie Summit and official visit to France from October 3-7.
