Environment Ministry: Cambodia Air Quality Index is Good


Phnom Penh: The Cambodia Air Quality Index (AQI) was 30.12 µg/m3 from 6:00 pm on Jan. 28 to 6:00 am on Jan. 29, compared to the standard of 50 µg/m3, meaning that the air quality was good, according to the Ministry of Environment’s air quality monitoring. About half of the 25 provinces and capital of Cambodia experienced ‘very good’ air quality during the said period, while the air quality in the other half was ‘good’.



According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, only Pursat province AQI was at ‘moderate’ level with real-time air pollution PM2.5 of 135 µg/m3.
