ECCC Hosts Training on Record and Archive Management 2024

The Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC) hosted a training programme on Record and Archive Management 2024 from Aug. 26 to 30.

The official launch of the training took place in Phnom Penh on Aug. 28, with the participation of an expert team from the National Archives of Korea (NAK) of the Ministry of Interior and Safety of the Republic of Korea to share knowledge on digital archiving.

This training programme covered long-term digital conservation policy and IT management and UNESCO memories of the world conservation project and case study, along with a study visit at the ECCC’s Resources Centre.

The training is a good opportunity for participants to understand the advanced digital conservation techniques and the methods of modern archiving.

It attracts trainees from ECCC, ECCC Legal Documentation Centre (LDC), the National Archives of Cambodia, Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, and the State Records Management and Archives Department of Vietnam (SRADV).
