Digital Government Forum 2024 to be Held for Three Days in March


Digital Government Forum 2024 will be held for three-day, on Mar. 11-13, in Phnom Penh under the theme “Sustainable and Inclusive Development through Digital Policies Implementation.”

The forum will be presided over by Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, H.E. Sok Puthivuth, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications and Chairman of the Organising Committee of the Digital Government Forum 2024 and the Digital Government and Digital Technology Exhibition, said at a press conference held here last Friday.

The upcoming forum will promote cooperation among government agencies, share excellence in the digital revolution, identify challenges in implementing digital solutions, boost people-centered services, and promote policies, digital infrastructure, cyber security and data privacy in the public sector, he pointed out.

‘The forum is aimed to explore emerging technologies, encourage innovation and facilitate communication between stakeholders to promote th
e efficiency and effectiveness of government operations, as well as mobilise local and international stakeholders to support digital economic and social development,’ H.E. Secretary of State stressed.

The important digital government forum is also aimed to highlight the achievements of building a digital government in line with the Cambodia Digital Economy and Society Policy Framework 2021-2035 and the Cambodia Digital Government Policy 2022-2035, he added.

The inaugural Cambodia-International Digital Government and Digital Technology Exhibition to be held along with the forum will highlight achievements in the digital government transformation, development of digital platforms and services alongside their positive impacts, and digital public service provision through digital platforms and services created by various ministries and institutions.
