CPP President Sends Congratulatory Message to Japan’s LDP President


Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP), on Sept. 28 extended his heartfelt congratulations to H.E. Shigeru Ishiba on his recent election as President of the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan.

‘Your election is a clear testimony to your exceptional leadership competence, especially during challenging times, and dedication to your nation and people,’ he wrote in his congratulatory message to H.E. Shigeru Ishiba.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed his confidence that that under H.E. Shigeru Ishiba’s leadership, the LDP will continue to be strengthened, thrive, and overcome Japan’s challenges and obstacles for the benefits of its people.

‘The long historical close relations and cooperation of our two countries will continue to be further advanced in the spirit of mutual respect, trust, and a commitment to promoting peace and prosperity of our two nations and in the region, particularly through the cooperation framework of our two parties. Furthermore, I firmly
believe that in your upcoming role as Prime Minister of Japan, you will further strengthen the cooperation and relations in all areas between Cambodia and Japan,’ he underlined.

The CPP president looks forward to closely working with H.E. Shigeru Ishiba and LDP to further forge the partnership and enhance the cooperation between the two countries and parties for the mutual benefits of the two peoples and nations.
