Phnom Penh: The Cambodia International Construction Industry Expo 2024 and Cambodia Constructors Association Summit, the largest annual event of its kind in the country, kicked off on Thursday in Phnom Penh, showcasing the current situation of the Cambodian construction sector focused on driving innovation, sustainability, and quality standards in Cambodia’s burgeoning construction industry.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the event is organized by the Cambodia Constructors Association at Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre and will run until December 7. The three-day event has attracted more than 120 local and international companies, which are showcasing over 2,000 products and more than 50 services. The expo is anticipated to bring together a wide range of industry stakeholders, including manufacturers, traders, investors, and regulators, offering unparalleled opportunities for connection and innovation.

l workshops on construction laws, regulations, and best practices. Additionally, dynamic business networking sessions are designed to foster collaborations and explore the latest advancements in the construction market.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, H.E. Say Samal, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Land Management, Urban Planning, and Construction, emphasized that the three-day construction exhibition serves as a platform to unite key players in the sector to enhance effectiveness and efficiency. H.E. Samal also encouraged investors, developers, banking and financial institutions, and other stakeholders to collaborate in modernizing and sustainably developing the construction sector in alignment with socio-economic development goals, with an emphasis on quality, safety, and the aesthetics of buildings.
