Phnom Penh: The fight against fraud requires intergovernmental cooperation to be effective, underlined Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate of Cambodia, in a Facebook post tonight.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the Kingdom of Thailand has recently made significant efforts to combat fraud, and Cambodia extends its congratulations on these successes. With Thailand achieving progress in this area, neighboring countries, including Cambodia, have also initiated similar efforts to tackle fraud.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed regret that Thailand’s achievements are sometimes portrayed by the media and certain politicians as indicating a failure on the part of its neighboring countries, including Cambodia. He emphasized that the crime is not yet eradicated, and the ongoing fight against fraud necessitates effective intergovernmental cooperation.
