Phnom Penh: Cambodian Minister of Tourism H.E. Huot Hak will lead a delegation to attend the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2025, the 28th ASEAN Tourism Ministers Meeting, and related meetings in Johor, Malaysia from Jan. 17 to 21.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2025 is organized under the theme “Unity in Motion Shaping ASEAN’s Tourism Tomorrow.” This event will witness the participation of tourism ministers from ASEAN member countries, China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, India, Russia, and several key ASEAN partner institutions, as announced by the Ministry of Tourism this afternoon.
At the ASEAN Tourism Forum, H.E. Minister will engage in the 28th ASEAN Tourism Ministers’ Meeting, the 24th ASEAN Plus Three Tourism Ministers Meeting involving China, Japan, and Korea, the 12th ASEAN-India Tourism Ministers Meeting, and the 4th ASEAN-Russia Tourism Ministers Meeting, as highlighted by the source.
These meetings aim to review progress, set future directions, and adopt several key documents targeted at achieving the ASEAN Tourism Vision. The vision states that by 2025, ASEAN aspires to be a quality tourism destination offering a unique ASEAN experience, committed to responsible, sustainable, inclusive, and balanced tourism development, contributing significantly to the socio-economic well-being of ASEAN people.
