Phnom Penh: Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia, on April 15 sent a condolence message to H.E. Mrs. TUN Jeanne Abdullah over the passing of her husband, H.E. TUN Dr. Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, 5th prime minister of Malaysia, on Monday.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed that the departure of TUN Dr. Abdullah Ahmad Badawi is an immense loss of a wise strategic statesman and a reformist leader who dedicated nearly his entire life to the happiness and prosperity of the peoples of Malaysia and other ASEAN countries, including Cambodia. He also highlighted Dr. Badawi’s dedication to his family.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen concluded his message by conveying heartfelt condolences on behalf of the Senate and the people of Cambodia to Mrs. TUN Jeanne Abdullah, her family, and through her, to the Parliament, Government, and people of Malaysia during this time of great sadness.
