Cambodian Senate President Extends Congratulations to New Indonesian President


Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has sent a congratulatory message to H.E. Prabowo Subianto on his inauguration as President of the Republic of Indonesia.

‘On behalf of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia and my own behalf, I am delighted to extend my warmest congratulations on your inauguration as President of the Republic of Indonesia. It is my firm conviction that you will perform this new role very effectively thanks to your leadership competence, extensive public-sector experience, and commitment to the betterment of your nation and people in addition to the support from the people,’ Samdech Techo Hun Sen wrote in his message dated Oct. 20.

The Cambodian senate president also expressed his firm conviction that as President of the Republic of Indonesia, H.E. Prabowo Subianto will continue to further strengthen and expand the relations between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Republic of Indonesia, which was established in 1957.

‘I look for
ward to closely working with you, your administration, and the Regional Representative Council (DPD) of the Republic of Indonesia to further enhance the cooperation between our governments and parliaments for mutual benefits for our two peoples and nations,’ he added.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen concluded his message with best wishes of good health, happiness and success in the new noble tasks to H.E. Prabowo Subianto.
