Phnom Penh: Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, is set to lead a high-level delegation to the Republic of the Philippines for an official visit on February 10-11, 2025, as announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the visit comes at the invitation of Philippine President H.E. Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. Accompanying Prime Minister Hun Manet will be First Lady Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet, H.E. Deputy Prime Minister Prak Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, as well as other ministers, key government officials, and representatives from the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce.
During the two-day visit, Prime Minister Hun Manet is scheduled to engage in bilateral talks with President Marcos Jr. The discussions will cover various aspects of bilateral, regional, and international cooperation. Following the talks, both leaders will oversee the exchange of several signed documents related to bilateral cooperation.
In addition to meeting with President Marcos Jr., Prime Minister Hun Manet will hold separate meetings with H.E. Francis “Chiz” G. Escudero, President of the Senate, and H.E. Ferdinand Martin Gomez Romualdez, Speaker of the House of Representatives. The Prime Minister is also expected to deliver an opening address at the Cambodia-Philippines Business Forum and meet with Philippine business leaders.
The visit aims to bolster the existing good relations and cooperation between Cambodia and the Philippines, providing new momentum for future collaboration.
