Cambodian PM Leaves for Indonesia for Inaugurations of New Indonesian Leaders


A high-level Cambodian delegation led by Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN Manet departed here this afternoon for Indonesia to attend the inaugurations of new Indonesian leaders, at the invitation of H.E. President Joko Widodo.

The delegation was seen off at Phnom Penh International Airport by deputy prime ministers, senior ministers, and many other senior government officials.

According to the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the inauguration ceremony of Their Excellencies Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka as President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia will be held in Jakarta on Oct. 20,

‘Samdech Thipadei’s presence at the ceremony will be a testament to the strong partnership and close relations between the two countries,’ underlined the source.

The Cambodian Premier is accompanied by H.E. Deputy Prime Minister TEA Seiha, Minister of National Defence, H.E. Deputy Prime Minister SOK Chenda Sophea, Minister of Foreign Affairs and In
ternational Cooperation, H.E. Dr. OTHSMAN Hassan, Senior Minister in Charge of Special Mission, and H.E. Mrs. CHAM Nimul, Minister of Commerce, as well as other dignitaries.
