Phnom Penh: Samdech Maha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly of Cambodia, has extended her congratulations and best wishes to her counterparts in China and Vietnam on the occasion of the Lunar New Year.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, Khuon Sudary expressed her satisfaction with the achievements of parliamentary cooperation between Cambodia, China, and Vietnam. She conveyed her confidence that these relations, built on mutual respect, trust, and understanding, will continue to grow for the benefit of their peoples. In her message to H.E. Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China, she emphasized the significance of such cooperation.

In her communication to H.E. Tran Thanh Man, NA Chairman of Vietnam, Khuon Sudary highlighted the longstanding ties of friendship and cooperation between the legislative bodies and countries, both bilaterally and multilaterally. She expressed her belief that these warm relations will continue to deepen, bringing mutual benefits to the peoples of Cambodia and Vietnam.

The Cambodian NA president concluded her messages by wishing her Chinese and Vietnamese counterparts a happy and prosperous Lunar New Year. The Chinese Lunar New Year and the Vietnamese Lunar New Year are observed this year on January 29.
