Phnom Penh: His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, and Her Majesty the Queen-Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk returned home this afternoon after spending about a month in China for their routine medical checkup. Their arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport was marked by a warm welcome from prominent officials, including Senate President Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen and National Assembly President Samdech Maha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, along with other high-ranking officials, royal family members, and representatives of the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia, were also present to greet Their Majesties. This visit marked their return after a previous medical trip to China that took place from August 26 to September 23, 2024.

Their Majesties consistently choose Beijing for their medical checkups, where they receive care from Chinese medical professionals. The hospitality extended by Chinese doctors and leaders during these visits is always appreciated by the Cambodian royal family.
