Cambodian ITF Taekwondo Athletes Win 5 Medals at a Regional Competition in India


Cambodia has so far bagged a total of five medals, including three silver and two bronze, from the 10th ITF Asian Taekwondo Championships in India.

The first silver medal was grabbed by athlete Taing Seasong, while the other two were obtained in team events. Athletes Sambath Sovanren and Khoeun Bunlong won each a bronze medal.

The 10th ITF Asian Taekwondo Championships, being held from Aug. 21 to 25 in Bengaluru, India, attracted more than 750 athletes from 28 countries across Asia.

The Cambodian delegation for this regional competition is composed of 27 members, of them 17 are athletes (6 women), and led by H.E. Keo Remy, Senior Minister and President of the Cambodia ITF Taekwondo Federation.
