Phnom Penh: Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister H.E. Prak Sokhonn, who also serves as the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, will be on a working visit to France from March 13 to 15, 2025.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, during his stay in Paris, the Deputy Prime Minister will visit the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF) at the invitation of H.E. Ms. Louise Mushikiwabo, the Secretary-General of the OIF. H.E. Prak Sokhonn is expected to discuss the preparations for the 20th Francophonie Summit 2026, which is scheduled to be held in Cambodia.
In addition, the Cambodian diplomat is scheduled to meet with H.E. Ms. Audrey Azoulay, the Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO). The discussions will focus on strengthening cooperation between UNESCO and Cambodia, particularly in the area of cultural heritage preservation.
