Phnom Penh: Cambodia’s arts delegation is participating in the Chingay Parade 2025, Singapore’s largest annual street parade, showcasing the nation’s rich cultural heritage on an international stage.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, more than just a dazzling display of artistic diversity, Cambodia’s presence also marks a significant milestone in diplomatic relations, commemorating the 60th anniversary of Cambodia-Singapore ties (1965-2025).
Leading the 53-member Cambodian delegation, Deputy Prime Minister H.E. Hun Many, Minister of Civil Service, who also serves as the President of the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia (UYFC) will oversee the country’s performance.
Themed ‘Life,’ Cambodia’s showcase blends classical and contemporary Khmer dance with traditional-modern fusion music, symbolising Khmer culture’s vibrancy, peace, and sustainable progress.
The performance, set before an audience of approximately 15,000 spectators, reflects Cambodia’s commitment to cultural diplomacy while reinforcing the deepening friendship between the two nations.
