Cambodia won five awards for the 21st China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO): Best National Pavilion, Best Exhibitor Organiser, Best Organiser for Online CAEXPO, Best Promotion on Investment Cooperation, and Best Industry Organiser.
The announcement was made in the Senior Officials’ Meeting (SOM) for the 21st CAEXPO in Nanning, China on Sept. 26, according to the Ministry of Commerce.
H.E. Sok Darith, Advisor to the Ministry of Commerce, Deputy Director-General of the General Directorate of Trade Promotion, and Co-Vice Secretary-General of the CAEXPO Secretariat, led a Cambodian delegation to attend the meeting, it pointed out.
The objectives of the meeting were to summarise the 21st CAEXPO; to put forward work proposals and tasks for the 22nd CAEXPO and to brief on the country of honour for the 22nd CAEXPO in 2025; and to award the ASEAN co-organisers for their contributions to the 21st CAEXPO, the source added.
The 22nd China-ASEAN Expo will be held from Sept. 17-21, 2025, in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Regi
on, and the Country of Honour for the 22nd CAEXPO will be the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
