Cambodia, Vietnam Laud Growing Cooperation for Mutual Benefit


Phnom Penh: Cambodia and Vietnam highly appreciate the results of their good cooperation for the mutual benefit of the two neighbouring countries and peoples. The appreciation was underlined during a meeting in Phnom Penh on April 9 between Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H.E. Aphi Santepundit Sar Sokha and H.E. Nguyen Minh Vu, the Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Cambodia.



According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, H.E. Aphi Santepundit Sar Sokha warmly welcomed the Ambassador and congratulated him on his assignment in Cambodia with optimism of further enhanced cooperation. During the meeting, both parties expressed their commitment to strengthening ties between the two countries.



H.E. Nguyen Minh Vu expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Interior, particularly H.E. Aphi Santepundit Sar Sokha, for the ongoing cooperation with the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia. The collaboration has been especially notable in the areas of security, public order, and safety, reinforcing the bilateral relationship between Cambodia and Vietnam.
